After graduating from RMIT (Melbourne, VIC) at the end of 2012 with a Bachelor of Textile Design, Yolanda returned to her home in Tasmania to start producing work from her studio in Salamanca. Native flora and bush imaginings: observed, pondered, and expressed as hand inked marks are screen printed onto natural fibres in vivid colours of the local landscape. The resulting textiles are a celebration and appreciation of place, the precious and wild environment of Tasmania.  Small batch printed and dyed fabrics allow for dreamy variations in colour and tone.

All fabrics in Yolanda's collection are one of a kind, making for a completely unique and personal interior experience.  β€œSustainability is more than a responsibility to the environment and being accountable for where materials are sourced from:  it is about fostering a creative and considered process where a humble length of cloth is transformed into a beautiful, valuable and long lasting product. I aim to produce textiles which can be enjoyed and loved for many years to come!” The Augusta collection features high quality medium to heavy weight linens perfect for interior decoration, soft furnishings and upholstery.  Yolanda also produces throws and pillows in a range of sizes in a selected colour palette.
