The Alchemy Collective is the collaborative works of Teresa Roche and Liz Rundorff Smith. Their works can be described as the seemingly magical process of transformation and creation from simple matter into gold. As artists, finding another creative who transforms your work while honoring your process requires very subtle alchemy. Teresa and Liz set out to make this series of original artwork, created by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic floral motifs that they could then transform into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns.

The process of creating and sharing hand-crafted work is inherently meaningful, and as they bring to fruition hours and hours of work with their collection, they share the rare beauty of working in harmonious collaboration…..and the result is pure gold. Teresa and Liz’s hope is that their original artwork, wallpaper and fabric, that has brought them many hours of joy, will also provide you with the creative freedom to transform your space into one that brings you joy.
